These are unprecedented times and here at Gatton Real Estate, our heart goes out to each and every individual that is affect by the novel COVID19 pandemic globally.

With information from the Government quite “fluid” at present in relation to recommendations, restrictions, recovery efforts and financial support, we don’t yet have a clear picture of what the future looks like. The irony is that we never have a clear picture of the future – we simply chart a course and adjust our efforts based on the current information available.

For now, we have adjusted our practices to help stop the spread of the virus whilst still being able to best service our valued clients. With rigorous hygiene, protection and disinfecting practices as well as strict physical distancing measures, we are committed to carrying out our essential service as safely and efficiently as possible.

We are totally committed to helping those in the Gatton Real Estate family and have contacted our most at risk clients to see how we can assist them. Our beautiful tenant Mavis had help from Rhonda when she required and we will continue to offer assistance like this where we can #carearmy.  (insert picture I have emailed you)

We’ve also been busy rethinking and re-strategising how we can best use technology during this time to fulfill our mission statement of being: “The Totally Local Firm – We Care”. To present properties to a more remote market, we have connected with business’ that provide professional video and 3DVirtual tours to ensure that with strict social distancing restrictions, our For Sale properties can still be seen by genuine buyers. Similarly, our Property Managers have created their own Virtual Tours of properties so that prospective tenants can view homes and apply remotely with the only contact being the collection of keys. And we will continue to use tech innovations to have documents signed remotely and to meet with our staff and clients remotely.

We have navigated tough times before – We have helped people buy, sell and rent houses through tough times like the 2011 and 2013 flood and the GFC before that. And we will continue to help our clients buy sell and rent through this tough time. The only real difference is that the HOW will change.
