Real Estate in the Age of COVID-19

From strict restrictions through March and April to a slightly more relaxed period at present, the Real Estate Industry has seen great changes through the first half of 2020. Like, everyone, we at Gatton Real Estate have had to adapt and evolve our business practices to ensure the safety and good health of our staff and clients. Though some practical aspects of this have been challenging, we are proud to say that as a team, we have devised clever and technologically supported strategies to continue operating as efficiently and professionally as possible to continue achieving our clients’ property goals. 

You might ask what this actually looked like for us. 

From ramping up the communication between all of our clients and customers, adapting viewings with prospective buyers and tenants in keeping with legislation (limiting numbers, contact, and utilising safety and sanitation equipment and products), arranging virtual routine inspections, providing 3D imagery for 3D virtual inspections, to running Auctions online and conducting virtual Sales Appraisals, we have adapted our business practices smoothly and easily to ensure our clients still receive the best possible service we can provide. 

With restrictions still in place, we will continue to operate cautiously into the future and we thank our clients and customers for their continued support through this time.
